Missions has always been a large part of First Baptist Church Sweetwater as we strive to always be Spreading the Light of Jesus by loving one another and glorifying God. Our mission is to be a missionary as described in Acts 1:8 NIV: And you will be my witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

First Baptist Sweetwater promotes and supports Tennessee State Mission Offering, Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Each year we are involved with other churches in the Sweetwater area with the Needy Family Fund Christmas boxes for the needy in our community. We are also the host church for the Operation Inasmuch United Sweetwater each year. We strive to have both state side mission trips and international mission trips for our members.
