M&M's

The name of the circle was given by Mrs. Hazel Register a long time ago when she was our leader. The Ms stand for

Missions and Ministry.

We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month @ 2pm in the homes of our members. Our aim is to study about mission work worldwide and to carry out mission activities here at home. These activities include support of things promoted by our church as well as individual needs we are aware of. An offering is taken at each meeting and is used to supplement needs that arise.

Some of the activities we have done are:

sending cards to missionaries from our church and service men and women,

help with school supplies,

shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child,

Valley Park Community Center Missions,

giving money and things needed for our Nicaragua Mission trip,

support World Changers,

Give to Tennessee Baptist Children's Home,

cards to the sick and shut-ins.

Some of these are promoted as a group and some are done on an individual basis.

We try to have a mission project to work on each month.

We always have a time of refreshments and fellowship at the close of our meetings.
